Metamorphosis Monday

Thanks to Susan for hosting met monday, hop over and see her at: http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/2009/08/welcome-to-32nd-metamorphosis-monday.html

Well last Thursday we moved our dear daughter to Baylor, this was her dorm room..ugggg. Not very attractive and no color, well except for that nasty pegboard!

But after many color choices, my daughter chose this bright blue, we love it. Makes the room so cheerful. She and I made the panels for the pegboard. We first covered the pegboard in fabric, than added the 2 corkboard panels and the photo panel we made. It was a fun project to do together.

Next we will be working on more storage space in the tiny closet, but I think we are off to a great start.

Amazing transformation. She now has such a wonderful room. You were so clever to cover the pegboard with the fabric. Looks great. Hugs, Marty

Dorms can be a challenge. You can't make permanent changes and there is so little room. Function is even more important that style, but you nailed it. Good job.
