Mirror Revamp!

Running late today and now I feel such pressure to get off a decent post. LOL.  So lets start with this fab mirror I found online. The owner said he had 3, which made me so excited and he was asking 20.00. At 20 I was thrilled and when I told him I wanted all three he offered a great deal..all 3 for 50. I did the happy dance. These ladies were a huge 45 x 33.5!

So Mr. C and I met this guy in a parking lot in town, he lived about 20 miles from us and was coming to town for dinner so we thought that would be good. I can only imagine how sketchy the transaction looked! We After sanding and priming, I painted this cream white and glazed with a mocha coffee glaze. I really do love it! I think I will take the other one and make a chalkboard.

Love the details on this lady!

Thanks for stopping by and come back again!!

Came over from Etcetorize to see your mirror transformation. Doing deals in a parking lot - what we will do for a piece of furniture! Great deal on the three! Love the transformation!

You know, ordinarily I think that mirror would be hideous! You know that early american stuff? But what you did to it completely transformed it!! It is stunning! Keeping my eye out from now on for all the uglies at the thrift store!!!

looks great! I think I have it's twin in my barn, but stupid me, I broke the glass getting it out! Grrrr. I think it'll have to turn into a chalkboard or something now...

That looks great! I should try that on a table I have - nothing else seems to be working, and this is exactly the effect I'd like on it.
