Rockin Red

Do you have a stack of old frames sitting around your garage like this? I do and some are that ugly gold..so I took one, sanded it, primed it and painted her rockin red!

When I first painted her with the red, it was so not what I wanted but with an addition of black glaze, she came out of her shell and I love her!

The black glaze gave the red the depth it needed and accented it really well.

A little sanding here and there...

Painted some scrap wood with chalkboard paint and now I have a rockin red chalkboard ready for a new home!

Thanks for stopping by and come back again!!
