It all started off right, I placed a deep brown tablecloth on the table, added my fav candles and than..it all started falling apart. My dear sweet teen daughter was packing to go on her trip to Florida and needed laundry done. Sooooo can you guess what happened? Your right, it became laundry central. My dinner was a wonderful crock pot roast with all the trimmings, but with the frantic packing, laundry, quick trip to the store for last minute travel items I will be having my roast for lunch tomorrow. Now I hear from the family that it was wonderful. Now I know what your going to say..why not take a break and eat, well once I start something I just have to finish it up or it drives me crazy. So today I have a very interesting tablescape for you. If you want to see some really beautiful ones skip on over to Between Naps on the Porch.. http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/2009/03/welcome-the-twenty-eighth-tablescape.html thanks for hosting!!

I've been there! Oh - have I been there!
See ya!
Yea, a girl has to roll with it. And you did! They are pretty candles and at least the laundry is all folded, so you can enjoy your snack.
Too funny, Candy
oh my...you picture shocked me for a minute...because I thought it was MY table! Our washer/dryer are "in" the kitchen...so my table too often looks exactly like yours!
Susan
Great versatile table! My laundry is in the kitchen and so things from the kitchen end up on the table to make room in the kitchen for the laundry! LOL
I thought once the kids left home this would never happen again. WRONG! Looks just like home all too often. At least you ate something. Hugs, Marty
Hahahaha.... loved this post, and I can relate. in our last house, the laundry room was off the dining room. I used to pray no one would knock when I was sorting socks on the dining room table!
Loved it... Cass
Ah yes, been there, done that. :o)
