Curb Find!

One day Mr. C and I were out driving around just enjoying some time together when we came upon this treasure sitting at the curb. Really a cute telephone table / gossip bench on the curb??? We quickly stopped and looked at one another knowing what each was thinking.  We backed up and parked and Mr. C went to the door and asked if we could take it. They wonderful answer was YES!! We loaded her up, spider webs and all and brought her home.
After we took her apart, sanded and sanded, primed, painted and added new foam, batting and fabric she looked beautiful.  Its sad to think she would have ended up in a landfill when she had so much life left in her. Check out those sexy legs!! Now she has a new lease on life.

So cute! It sure amazes me that people don't see the potential and are so willing to just discard such a pretty piece.....

WOW, this is gorgeous! People do not set stuff like that out at their curbs here. The garbage will not take them. So glad you rescued her, she is a real beauty. You did a great job of refurbishing her. I hoped over from Share the Love and am now a new follower. I have a link party, Share Your Cup Thursday. I would love if you shared this.
Hugs,
Jann

Cute curb find! I love finding great stuff curbside, or from thrift store, Craigslist, consignment. And it definitely looks better with the makeover. What are you planning on doing with it?
