Dollar Store Deal is Back Plus a Repurpose

A couple of years ago I found these tiles at a local Dollar Tree, painted them and glazed the and loved the way they turned out. Well I was out this past week and they are back. So check out my post on them Here and run out and see if you can find them also!

Also ran by the local Goodwill and scored this cheese dome for 2.99.  I found an old candle holder, black paint and in 30 minutes..

Love it and cannot wait to put a cute pumpkin in it!! Have a wonderful week and have fun turning trash to treasure!

Hello! I am visiting from Thrifty Treasures. I have never thought to put a cheese dome on a candlestick, but it works great, doesn't it?

I love it! This is such a great idea. I just picked up a cheese dome at a garage sale, and this would be the perfect upgrade for it. Thanks for sharing!

I am currently slowly working up from cheese domes to real cloches, but seem to like the little cheese domes best! Love the way you took yours to new heights!

I picked up one of these cheese things at GW too and was trying to decide what to do with it. Now that I have seen how good yours looks I must do the same. I might even go get another one.

You're right, a pumpkin in your new cheese dome and base is going to look so cute. Looks as though they were made to go with each other. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
