Copy Cat Anthropologie Tufted Wool Wreath DIY

When I fist saw this wreath from Anthropologie, I swooned. It was beautiful, but when I saw the price I almost fainted. Well over $100.00 for a wreath. Nope, nada, not going to happen! After lots of searching on the web, taking ideas from different blogs I came up with direction for making my own wreath for under $20 bucks!  Can I get an Amen?

These are the supplies needed:
yarn - I used 2 of Lion Brand, straw wreath  ( keep plastic on), hot glue, small pompom maker and sharp pointed scissors

Follow the directions on making pompoms and make lots. I think I made about 125-150.  Here are a few:

Once you think you have enough start gluing them on.

Once it was all done I added some burlap ribbon and hung it on my mirror above the fireplace. This is an easy project to work on while watching tv.

So for under 20 bucks in supplies I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?
