These are the supplies needed:
yarn - I used 2 of Lion Brand, straw wreath ( keep plastic on), hot glue, small pompom maker and sharp pointed scissors
Follow the directions on making pompoms and make lots. I think I made about 125-150. Here are a few:
Once you think you have enough start gluing them on.
Once it was all done I added some burlap ribbon and hung it on my mirror above the fireplace. This is an easy project to work on while watching tv.
So for under 20 bucks in supplies I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?

Super cute. I can't believe they were asking $100! Thanks for sharing. {ChicByTab}
I am super picky about wreaths, but I LOVE this one!!! And I already have some of this yarn + one 8 year old daughter who loves to make pom pom's. Yay!We share a birthday on Saturday, this sounds like a perfect craft to work on together while watching Little Women - she's been wanting to for weeks. Thanks for posting!
This is so cute, and it looks darling for winter. Great job!
Dropping by for Thrifty Things Friday!

Your wreath turned out so pretty; and you saved a ton of money! Love it!
Wow! Now that is a thrifty way to save! Love your wreath and the price so much. I love to see how Anthropology items can be made for much less! Thanks for linking to TTF!
Wow. Impressive. I and going to look for a pompom maker right now! I have been admiring those woolly, sweater pillows - a wreath like this would be perfect with those. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yours looks wonderful! And I love that there is a product out there to make pom pom's! I have seen so many of these wreaths but was not interested in making handmade pom pom's....now I may have to try it! Pinned!
Super cute and what a fantastic price! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
