Its Outdoor Wednesday and I am so excited to be a part of it. To see more outdoor spaces, hop on over to Susan's blog at :
http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/This is part of the backyard, boy we will be doing loads of work back here as it warms up! Just ignore the sheets ect. we had a freeze the other night so everything was covered. I stuck my toe in the pool and it is freezing!!! I can't wait to start plant shopping and get some color back here. I love the spring before the heat hits, its always so nice to sit outside!
Can you find the sweet little butterfly?
My sweet olive tree is blooming and smells so good!
What I see when I was on the chaise by the pool. The sky was beautiful!
My rosebush is starting to bloom!
So I plucked some roses and brought them in to give the window above the sink some color!

Beautiful pool! Love your roses...they look so sweet in the window. So nice seeing your pics...a nice little respite from the cold. :-) Susan
Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday! You have a beautiful backyard and I am GREEN with envy that you have a rose blooming! All my roses are little sticks waiting to be cut back (a chore I need to do soon)
Thanks for sharing your great photos!
Your pool is beautiful! I'd never want to leave it! ♥ Diane
What a beautiful yard you have, and I love that pool. I don't think I would ever go inside. The sweet olive is beautiful.
What a great backyard! Enjoy!!
What a lovely pool and yard! Thank you for sharing.
XO,
Sheila :-)
What a great post. Can I come over for a swim? Your flowers are lovely. It must be so nice to cut fresh flowers to bring indoors this time of year.
Thanks for sharing!! :-)

Margaret, I love the tour of your backyard and pool! You must really enjoy it when the weather is warmer and especially in the spring when the weather is begging you to come out and sit. The roses are gorgeous! I can smell them from here, amazing what a picture can do to one's senses! Come visit me at Catherinesteacups.blogspot.com and say hello today! ~CC
Gorgeous pool and flowers! Oh, do not wish for falling leaves in the summer. It turns cold rather quickly, remaining that way much too long. I would trade, anytime. :)
Very pretty...your pool is wonderful! ;-) Bo
Beautiful back yard. Beautiful pool.

You have a beautiful yard, and pool. The flowers are so pretty.
It is a brath of fresh air, to pop in and see these wonderful blogs which have flowers in bloom:)
I haven't ever seen an olive tree in bloom. Thanks!
What a pretty pool you have. I think when it warms up you should have us all over for a pool party.

Margaret, I noticed you mentioned you love trading iris bulbs. My mom would probably trade by mail with you. However, because she did the Iris sale two years in a row, it's really stifled her garden...it could be some time before she parts with any. But, I'll check with her. She'd probably get a kick trading one from another state. I'm sure they would ship well! Take care! ~CC
hello! So nice to meet you :)
I cnnot believe you have roses blooming! (sigh)...they are gorgeous!
and so nice to see them while dipping in the pool!
