I decided to turn my Valentine's Day Banner into a St. Patrick's Day Banner. Should be easy right? For most people it is, not for me! I changed it 3 times!!
I gathered up my shamrock cookie cutter, twine, decorator paper and brown paper lunch sacks.
I cut out the shamrocks, cut 4 banner flags from the paper sacks. I taped the shamrocks on the banner and threaded the twine and tadaaaa Shamrock Banner. I loved with it for a day. I did not like how the paper bags blended into my wreath.
I took it down and decided to outline the banner with black pen. Back up it went and I lived with it for a few more days.
Still not right so today I took it down again and cut banners out of black construction paper, added my shamrocks and redid the twine. Ahhhh yes, that's the ticket.
Sorry for the bad pic's but we have had lots of clouds and rain.
Now my banner pops and I really am pleased with it. So what should have taken less than an hour took me way too long but now it is they way I like it. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi Margaret, those shamrocks are lovely and look so good on the wreath. I suppose I should take down the Valentine's hearts and rose wreath, but it's just so lovely by the front door. Hope you have a lovely week ahead.
Your St Patrick's Day Banner is cute. I love your wreath! Have a happy week ahead!
Love your wreath, so pretty. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
